I'm Rachel,I was born in 1980,in Quebec city. When I was 3 years old I started to watch the mysterious cities of gold on tv.  This famous series is a big part of my chilwood,my favorite caracter is Marinche, because she's very intelligent and the most beautiful caracter of all animes. When I was a child, I wanted to be her,and I played that I was Marinche ,and the dream of my childwood was to discove the others cities of gold.  Now I'm a super anime-fan, I drawing caracters and stories,I'm so facinated by (the past),the history and the others countries.

Je suis fan des Mysterieuses Cites d'Or depuis ses premieres diffusions.  Il reste pour moi le meilleur dessin anime jamais realise.  Still the best for me.  Best scenario, best graphism and above all best music.

I had forgotten about MCoG untill my freshman year in high school in spanish class when we were given a list of spanish names we could use.  I was looking through and I saw Esteban, and all of a sudden the memories came back I watched MCoG when I was in first grade, and never got to see the last few episodes.  I can hardly remember the plot at all, and I downloaded the theme song the other day. That brought back the most memories.  So now I am in search of a copy of the episodes.  If anyone can help me out it would be greatly appriciated.  =}
I am currently 18, and having a great time at Montana State University!!!

197.  Selina Herring (Muffy)

Fell in love again with the Mysterious Cities of Gold so I looked on the internet to see what I could find.  - A greaty web site with a top mailing list to keep you up to date.
Great work Tyrone!!!

It was those grueling early (5:30 sometimes) that I would have to wake up to catch my Favorite show in Nick.  I still kick my self for one; taping over the episodes of MCoG, and two, not taping MCoG when Nick decided to have a MCoG marathon right before they decided to quit broadcasting it.  Being an Animator, and an illustrator MCoG has had an increadable influence on my life.  So if any of you fans out there.  Feel free to write me, I love to meet more fans.

Oh, wow! I have been looking for MCoG info forever and I am so happy to find this page.  I am a 20 year old college student and I remember watching this show whenever it was on Nickelodeon when I was younger.  I haven't seen it for around 9 years, but this page brings it all back.  I was especially delighted to find the theme song!

191.  Alexander

I am 19 years old and remember watching MCOG when the BBC first aired it years ago, well when they showed them again a second time I taped every episode, except for episodes 34 to 38 which the BBC decided not to show, if anyone can supply me with copies of these episodes I will gladly provide them with any episode they want in exchange.

188.  Janet
MCoG was the first TV programme I ever *refused* to miss (meaning I had a hissy fit if anyone walked in front of me when it was on).  I thought that nobody remembered it until I did a search and found this page.  I say that everyone in the UK should petition the BBC until we get a repeat!

187.  SNARK - Gilles Reichert
I remember watching MCOG when I was a child and I find it's still far better than today's anime.  I'm now 24 and beleive MCOG will always be part of my memories.  (PS: Tao is cool!)

186.  Lee Jones (http://website.lineone.net/~ljones/)
I'm 23, and work in a small computer company in the UK.  I remember MCoG, I first saw it in 1989 on BBC1.  I also remember "Battle of the Planets".  Isn't it intresting that as kids, some of us were watching Anime but never knew it! I Saw BOTP first, but McoG was the first Anime I can remember clearly and took note of.  In fact after watching MCoG I started researching and looking into 16th Century S.American History while at school - because of McoG! Since then I've been "on the lookout" for more Anime and Manga - there's precious little in the UK.  While I'm here, and I apologise for sounding like an advert, but if you're an Employer in Hong Kong (Computing) do you have any employment oppertunities? - I'm looking to emigrate to Hong Kong.

185.  David Robichaud
I like the mysterious cities of gold and the Spice girls

184.  Phil Colvin (http://www.geocities.com/TelevisionCity/5729)
I'm a(nother) British fan and a comedy writer and I remember watching the runs the BBC did and joined the club of those aweing at how Esteben's hair blew in the opposite direction to the clouds in the theme titles.

183.  Timothy
Please, I need to find the videos (In English)

182.  Richard Hollander
I'm 13 and when I was around 4 I watched the series on Nickelodeon every day.  I even forced my Parents to record ALL the episodes.  I just don't have the episodes where they get the Golden Condor and a few in the middle (Due to Damage).
It is the BEST show in the world!!!!!!!!

181.  Logan S.  Foster (http://home.earthlink.net/~sharkey_1/)
Ive been a big MCoG fan since I was 7 or 8 years old.
Its probably the best thing to come out of France ever.
I loved Esteban, Mendoza, and the Condor best.

180.  JOE007

Hi, I'm 18 years old, live just up the road almost from the creator of the page.  A conversation with a friend reminded me about MCoG and i just typed it in and found out the some people still remember, i have never seen all the episodes because our video chewed the last 10 episodes Up.  RAHHHH!!

178.  Lance Redcloud
I never got to see Mysterious Cities of Gold on TV, because it went off the air before I got a chance, but my brother managed to tape some of the episodes.  All I have is the last few episodes, with bad tracking problems, but I have been a fan for several years now.  I just wish I could see some early episodes-- get video tapes or something

177.  Myryea
I'm 18 and I've been a fan of MCoG since kindergarten.  In fact, I went trick-or-treating as Zia that Halloween.  It was hard to explain to the other kids.  I'm so glad I found this page, now I don't feel so alone.  It's a shame that this series is no longer on; with the right promotion, i think this show could be popular once again. I also think a sequel series might be a cool idea, too. Like many of you out there, I too, wanted to travel to Peru.  At the age of 7, I thought that it must be the coolest place on earth, but later I realized that it was really a third world cesspool, obviously Pizarro's fault. Long live MCoG!

176.  Brak
People out there, I am starting a group type thing where I try to get people to get this show back on the air it is a shame they took it off so, will you help me out by E-mailing Nickelodeon? It's for the show.  Thanks!

Me, I'm a 19 yr old college sophomore, and I LOVE this show! I remembered it one day, and ever since I've been wanting to see it again for over 9 years, it brings back great memories.  I'm not sure exactly, but I think it was either Nickelodeon or CBS who had this show on in the 80's.  I'm trying to get them to show it again, since they probably still have the entire English version in their possession.  If anyone wants to help me start some sort of petiton please send me an email.

173.  Lee Gilligan
Hi I'm Lee formerly from Pudsey in Leeds, but now studying at Liverpool.  I can remember watching MCOG when I was little and would love to see them again.  If anybody knows where to get hold of them, please let me know I'm desperate!!!

Hello!!! I'm 19 and, well...  I love the show!!! I haven't seen it since I was 9 years old and untill I was browsing the internet for the first time a couple of months back, I never even thought of the show for close to a decade!!!(Yes, I now see the error of my ways) But when I accidently ran across the theme song on a random web page and listened to it, all the memories came back.(I absolutly love that opening theme) I'd just like to say...  It's nice to be here....

171.  James McGarry
Hi,
I'm a big fan of MCoG, and statred watching about 10 years ago in Australia, when i was 6, and i have never lost the love i have for it.  I am currently looking for the tapes, which i understand are only available in France, so if anyone in Australia has a copy (doesn't have to be originals), but some form of the whole set, email me.  I will pay top price.

170.  Christina
I wept when i found this web site, because no one i know has even heard of this cartoon.  I watched it when i was six, and i think my first sexual fantasies were about Esteban and how he and Zia would get it on when Tao wasn't looking.  Mendoza was pretty hot too.  I love everything about the series, and was shocked when i remembered the high intellectual level the plot reflected.  Remember the part where Sancho and Pedro are trying to drink from the cactus? Those crazy guys!!

169.  Tom Harvey
I am 19 years old and used to race home from school for cities of gold when I must have been about 7 or 8 or maybe older I can't really remember.  I could never remember the song until now.  It really touched me and made me wannabe little again so bad.  Please repeat it BBC! Please.  Lets all start a campaign to see it back on our sceens.  What do ya say?

168.  Lorna(PURPY)

I don`t know to speak very well English but this program is very important to me and I think that my English can express me; I am a very nice girl, I am a good student and a good friend.

I always loved the opening song! I loved this series to death!! I missed the last episode as well ~_~...I am still searching for the videos like you lot ~_~

161.  Burke S.
I'm 21 and will never forget Nickelodeon every day at 3pm after school in the 4th grade.  It was a sad day when MCoG was never to be aired again.  For the longest time I hoped for new seasons with adventures to the other cities of gold! I've always wondered if Atlantis, or even Lemuria, would have been part of the story..  even though the time frame was way past these land's bed times.

160.  Patapom (http://www.citeweb.net/bomb/)
Hi there! I'm a French 22 years old student and I'm very glad since I had the chance (as all of you my friends) to see what I believe to be the most wonderful anime of all times! It is really unique and I can't prevent me from crying every time I watch the whole set! (Yes, I have all the episodes!)
>>>! I love MCoG !<<<

159.  Nathaniel
I have a bunch of episodes from when it aired on Nickelodeon, if anyone is interested, but a lot have been recorded over...  I'm 13 and a big fan of MCoG, and I am trying to find out if I can contact Nickelodeon and see if they can put the show back on the air.  Feel free to email me anytime.

158.  Neil
I remeber the days of Andy crane, MCoG just after Johney Brigs.  I'm 19, MCoG was my first taste of Anime and I still love it.I wish it was back on again!

157.  iSOMA (http://www.man.compsoc.org.uk/~isoma)
I heard the theme tune and it borught back many memories, some of them MCoG related.  It was only when I didn't get MCoG as an acronym that someone reminded me.  Of course, it could be false memory syndrom <g>

156.  Jimmy
I just remembered TMCOG and I immediatly got on the internet for information.  If anyone has ANY episodes in English to lend, I would be most greatful, and I would promise to return.  In fact I would put a deposit down to secure the deal.  Please contact me I need my dose of TMCOG.

I was born in 1974, and now I am a student of biology.  I live in Lublin, in Poland.  I don't speak English too good, but I LOVE MCoG ! I always was wondered about Emperor, who seems to know so much and probably also helped children reach their destiny.

153.  Daniel Slatford (http://www.unity.force9.co.uk)
Hi! I'm 19 years old now, and must have watched this excellant series about 100 times when it was on (although I seem to have lost all the videos over time):-( **I've now bought them again, hence this site!!
The best thing, apart from the Condor, has to be the music - I've got all the MP3's from the French site and they're absoloutly BRILLIANT! (No, I lie, the best things the music fused with the visuals of the Golden Condor in flight!!)

152.  Sarah Kerrison
I am a first year Archaeology student at Durham University, England.  I loved Cities of Gold as a kid, and can still remember most of the storylines! I also remember crying because I had missed the episode.  I wish it would be repeated so I could see if it is as good as I remember it!

151.  Cameo
Hi all! I'm 16 and from Melbourne Australia - I remember watching Cities of Gold every night when it was on here, and I wish that you could buy the videos in English because me french isn't that great.  Oh, Smashing Pumpkins are really cool - I just thought I'd better add that
