100.  Kish Islam (http://www.geocities.com/CollegePark/Campus/8611)
I remember Cities of Gold very vaguely, it sure seemed longer than 39 episodes! I wish that they'd had 39 episodes for each City of Gold and for each City of Silver (did they mention these or is it my imagination?) I don't believe this story with the monster VCR! - but suit yourself.  Did anybody cry for Cities of Gold when they watched Twins of Destiny (after retching, that is) ? Other shows I like are The TransFormers (including Beast Wars), Doctor Who, Danger Mouse (and other Cosgrove Hall stuff), etc......

99.  Jen
I used to watch Mysterious Cities of Gold when it was on Nickelodeon.  I didn't remember much about it but when I found this it all came back to me.  I would be interested in hearing from you about anything related to the show.

98.  Nick
I'm 18 and I live in Canberra, Australia.  I remember the MCoG as being completely awesome! I'd watch each day on the ABC after school ...  ahh the memories.  I remember the treehouse, the condor, a big gold block (that might have been inside the condor or a ship) and of course, the medallions.

97.  El'ape
I love Cities of Gold and I intend to see it out on video by the middle of next year, all things accounted for.  Oh yeah and I have to say this is the best site I've visited in weeks, keep up the good work!

96.  CECILE
I'm 18 years old and I'm fan since I was 10 years old My favorite character is Pedro because he's nice and very couragous

95.  Thomas Palouka
MCoG did not air much in Australia but I've managed to see many episodes.I love the series so much and it's really sad that I can't find any videos to buy.If anyone out there can get me copies of the videos I will be very grateful.I am willing to pay money to people that own videos.MCoG is the best series I've ever seen.

94.  alain
I am French, 21 years old and I live in Paris.  I see MCoG when the show started for the first time in...1982, I think.  Since, I worship this ambitious saga; it combines so cleverly History, South American legends (I'm Chilean too) and fabulous musics (what are they waiting for to release the CD, anyway?).  I can't think why these cartoonists don't create something similar today! Maybe they think children are so easily satisfied, mental defectives or what??!! During other broadcastings (ulterior at 1982), French television cut the short documentaries and credit titles: shocking!

93.  Karime
I was raised with the Golden Cities.Luckily,in France (as I'm French) all the serie has been re-released on video tapes,so some of you might be interested (beware in France our VCR system is SECAM ).  I'm now living in Mpls ,MN,and I'm waiting for reading you!!!

92.  Amy (http://www.geocities.com/Heartland/Ranch/6614)
Well, what can I say.  My name's Amy, I'm 15, and I'm from Sydney, Australia.  And I LOVE MCoG !!!! The only time I saw it was when I was 4 years old.  I don't really remember all that much of the storyline.  But I know that I absolutely loved it, and I would refuse to go to my ballet class when it was on (every Friday afternoon I think it was).  I used to pretend I was Zia at playtime in school.  lol Hopefully sometime, it will be repeated on TV so I can remember more of it.

91.  Gregory Kimbrell

90.  Aaron Pulcifer
I am just the typical run of the mill poor college student, who, after many years of searching, has finally gotten his grubby hands on a complete set of the series! I enjoy skiing, Star Wars, Voltron, art, Kung-Fu, and for those of you who have been to Athens, Oh., I enjoy surfing the Hocking!

89.  Stuart Luscombe (http://www.macrossandanime.mcmail.com)
I remember seeing the series back in the 80's when I was still a kid! (I was born in 1980) Just surfing around today and found this! I never knew it was this popular! They should put it back on BBC1!

88.  nathan young
I am sixteen years and have a big fan of the mcog ever since it first aired on BBC1 in the 'broom cuboard' and let me tell you that was along time ago, but because I was so young and my parents were so old I was forced to watch Countdown on channel four and so I missed loads of episodes but even though I still think it was the best thing since sliced bread.  I also one chritsmas managed to see afilm about Laputa and the flying robot guardians if any has got on video I whould be very gratefulif you cou ld lend it to me as it was brilliant.I am pleased that i have this site and I will be aregular visiter

87.  Lara Cameron
Well, what can I say? I'm female, 15, and obsessed with the seven cities of gold.  I have been ever since it was on TV here in Australia on the ABC.  For me, the show is a childhood thingthat is now very important to me, along with shows like Astro Boy, Dangermouse, Monkey Magic, And The Goodies.  Just a week ago the show was only memories to me, because I hadn't been given a copy of the last episode (I have it now in my posession if anyone wants details e-mail me) and didn't know about this page.  Bye.

86.  Phil Adams
this show rules.  I used to watch this show on Nickelodeon as a kid in the mid 80's.  I am an archaeology student now.  This show spawned my deep interest in history and archaeology.

85.  Paolo@ok.azalea.net
When I was just a little boy of about five, I watched this show religiously on Nickelodeon.  I taped a few eps., and just recently I was digging through a drawer of old videos and came across this old tape.  Boy, did watching it take me back! Even now at 16 I like The Mysterious Cities of Gold as much as I ever did way back when.  I remember wanting a medalion like Zia and Esteban had so badly, I tried to figure out how I could cut the middle out of one I already had.  My memory of the plot is so va gue - if anyone could tell me how I could get my hands on some tapes of this show I would be REALLY greatful!

84.  Simon Oram
I'm 22 and live Portsmouth, U.K.  I haven't seen Mysterious Cities of Gold for ages, all i can remember about the series is the theme song.  I also enjoy watching Anime in general and would love to get hold of the series on tape again.

83.  Kevin Lee
I've been a Mysterious Cites of Gold fan since I first saw it on Nickelodeon in 1986-1987.  I don't think I have seen an animated series that has yet come close to the sense of adventure, etc...that the Mysterious Cities of Gold has.  Over the years, I've tried finding books, video tapes, etc..on MCoG, but always unsuccessful.  Then, I found this Web-site.  I'm glad there are other fans out there.

82.  Andrew Simpson
I'm 25, living in Stoke, England.  I love MCoG and have half of the episodes on tape.  I hope to get the other half someday too.  I'm planig on an MCoG page on my web site, just for info and downloadable tunes.  I don't have a particular favourite character in MCoG, they all work equally well together as a team, and none of them would have got as far as they would without the others.  I'd like to see photos of the fans on a special page, the MCoG series on DVD, the soundtrack on CD and the TV networks giving us some relief!

81.  Alex
I'm French....that would be the only important thing I guess.

80.  Ealish
I adored this show when it was on Nickelodeon around '86. I wanted so much to be a character and go on their adventures, too! Tao was always my favorite; his background is so cool.  I was a history nut to begin with, and the remarkable blend of realism and myth in this series just about clinched the fascination for me--now I'm a history & religion major, with a special interest in New World archaeology, of course! I'm 21, from Titusville, Florida, and have every episode on tape except the very first, and every now and then I find myself compelled to watch them ten at a time when I should be doing something useful.

79.  Hope Larson (http://members.aol.com/souslemasq.html)
::gasp:: I thought it just vanished into the blue!::eyes get all watery:: I've been looking for information... something...  anything! on MCoG for so long!!! Well, I'm another 15-year-old, and I actually remember a lot about the show.  Not enough, though.  It's good to see that all those hours I spent watching the show weren't for naught.

78.  BLACK PANTHER
My name is BLACK PANTHER, I come from OZ, I'm 13, and I used to watch MCoG as a tiny little kid.

77.  Johhny
I'm from Poland, and I long time search any pages about MCoG, and I find them! YAAAHOOO!!!

76.  Laurent Boireau
I'm 20, live in PARIS (France) and consider 'les mysterieuses cites d'or' as the best cartoon ever.  I've got all the episodes (in french)and can make copies...provided you come and visit me in Paris.  Does someone know where I could get a model Great Condor or some posters from the cartoon??? Please call (01).44.75.93.27 (on evening) or write at Laurent Boireau 17 rue du colonel Oudot 75012 Paris.  E-mail might be soon available(possibly)

75.  Chet Narayan
I was born in 81.  I loved watching those cartoon and tv shows of the 1980's.  The Nickelodeon shows I loved to watch were The Mysterious Cities of Gold, The Little Prince, You Can't Do That On Television, and Out of Control.  I always wished I could see them again some day, so if you have any episodes of any of these shows then e-mail me and we can trade.

74.  segs3
this show was so incredible..I remember spending a whole summer trying to watch every single episode on Nickelodeon.  It was on every afternoon and ...ohh I am overwhelmed with nostalgia.  On the lighter side, I like Nirvana, Tori, the Police, Petty, and Sarah McL.....  The Olmecs were the best...supposedly they descended from aliens, right? Reminisce with me y'all.

73.  Russell Robinson

I'm 20 and currently a student at the University of Georgia.  I loved Mysterious Cities of Gold, and I watched it almost every day on Nickelodeon.  I wish Nickelodeon or one of the other networks would bring it back.  I also love anime, and my current favorite anime show is Sailor Moon.

69.  Aude
I'm 24, Canadian, I study History, I first saw MCoG (in French) when I was 11, and I still watch it (still showed here).  My interest in History comes from MCoG.  My favourite character is Esteban.

68.  Gabrielle
I am 14 years old, and live in the U.S.  I used to watch this show all the time when I was little, although I can't remember much of it.: However, I remember the Jade Mask episode very clearly, which scared the crap out of me too! I would really like to get a copy of any of the episodes, so if anyone here knows how to get them in the US could you contact me? Thanks!

67.  Sophie
MCoG reminds me of my childhood, when my father was still home.  I'm so much like Zia in real life.  I'm very serious and mysterious.  I love rainbows and...  gold.

66.  David Banz
I watched the show in the late 80s on the belgian channel BRT1.  Fortunately they aired the english version.  But unfortunately, I didn't have a VCR at that time, so I could not record the whole thing! MCoG is one of my favourite tv series, next to Babylon 5.  Apart from the fantastic story, I especially like the music.  It's really about time they release the brilliant soundtrack on CD.

65.  Isa
I was born in 1982 and I'm from Sydney, Australia.  The Cities of Gold was my no.  one favourite show when I was little- I loved the history, the adventure, the characters, the music, the mystery...  when I recently tried to dig out my old recorded copies though, I found that all but about 2 had been taped over!!!!!!!!!!!!! (aauuuggghhh) Anyway the High Priest, Mendoza and Menator are my fav characters.

64.  Mathieu Richardoz
hi all MCOG fans! A good friend of mine just lent me the full 10 MCOG videos, and I watched them with great pleasure! I guess even being 18, the MCOG is a real MUST, not like all those fighting animes...  a real story, cool characters, really GREAT (all of us think that!) I chose Esteban because he's the one i used to identify myself to when I first watched the serial when I was 6.

63.  snoopy
I haven't seen this show in years (we all know why) but it is still cool!

60.  Lisa Aronson
I live in Sydney, and I watched the series 2 1/2 times when it was on in Australia(I was born in 1980).  I taped the series the last time it was on(all except the last episode) but we(ie.  family) taped over it(aaaaargh!).  So does anyone know who did the English version? Maybe they kept a tape of it...

Am a great fan of MCoG.  However, being in Australia and having dumbass people in the programing departments of all stations, I have not seen an episode of MCoG in 5-10 years, so I can't remeber much.  I do remeber that i like it but.  So thats about all....cyal peoples.

I am 15 years old and I've been a fan of the MCoG since it was shown on TCC in 1991.  I live in Stockholm, Sweden, and have about 25-30 episodes recorded.  I'm very interested in history, especially about the Incas and the Mayas, and I like reading books written by Tolkien.
