I remember rushing home from shool with my friends to watch MCOG in the 80's.  Cartoons today suck compared to the likes of Ulysses 31, Star Fleet, (remember that?)Jayce and the Wheeled Warriors and of course MCOG.  I'm desperate to see it again, anyone who can help contact me.  Cheers.

49.  Andy Russell
I watched MCoG when it was first shown and loved it.  I had forgotten about it to be honest until I stumbled across this page.  I live in England and support Leeds United.  I would love it if anyone could help me in obtaining copies of the episodes.

48.  Katie Spencer
Esteban is a bloody legend.  When I was little, I used to always be Esteban in role playing games with my friends! I remember that whenever I saw MCoG I was always happy! It's sad that todays kids must grow up with garbage programs such as the Power Rangers and miss out on the legend of MCoG! I am an Australian girl born in 1981, I would like to write to anyone who was also seduced by this masterpiece.

47.  Michael J.  Spencer
I was born in 1979 and first saw MCOG in the late 80s.  MCOG is truly the greatest show in the universe.  I also enjoy ANIME in general, especially ASTROBOY and STARBLAZERS however, nothing comes near the brilliance that MCOG offered.  If anyone loves this show as much as I do than write to me.  I live in Australia but one day soon, plan to journey to the Andes and explore the real world of MCOG.  If anyone can help me get hold of the series on video I will be forever grateful!

46.  Psyche
My parents were too cheap to have cable back then, so I'm kind of a newbie at being an MCoG fan.  My friend made me watch some of the episodes(made me watch one, actually.  after that, i was BEGGING to see more!) and I've loved it ever since.  I have to say that Mendoza is the smoothest character (they always seem to have capes, don't they?), but there are SOOO many people who already have him as there associated character.): *sigh* Anyway I bet I'm taking up a lot of space here so TaTa For Now!

45.  Gael Roset
I've seen the the MCoG 12 years ago, the complete storie.  And now I'm 21 and proud to have the complete colection of vidos from episode 1 to 39 including documentaries.  I hope young people will see the best Animation Film ever maid.  Ps: In France since January 1997 all the vidos could be buyed by AK Vido.  Email-me if you want to contact them.  Bye

44.  Sue Read
I am 20yrs old and have been a MCOG fan since it was first shown on Childrens BBC in '86 (in England).  I now live in Adelaide, Australia and am a Flinders Uni student majoring in Latin American history and Screen studies ( I have also studied Archaeology, Spanish and Ancient Hist.  as a result of watching MCOG.).  I haven't seen MCOG since '89 and I am desperatly looking for copies of the series on video.  I am also interested in hearing other peoples MCOG experiences as well (I don't care what age you are as long as you share a great love for the series.) My fondest memories are of dashing home straight after school (I lived a mile away from the local school!!) to watch it.  The whole series was just BRILLIANT.

43.  Patrick Gustafson (http://Dagashi.home.ml.org)

42.  Maryann Robbins
I was born in 1976 and live in Ohio.  I am a huge animation fan and use to skip karate practice just to watch MCoG.  Some of my other favorite shows are Dungeons & Dragons, G.I.  Joe and Jem.

41.  Mark Jones
Born in 1980, all I could remember of the MCoG was the lyrics and tune to the theme song, and the condor.  Then someone reminded me of the name of the series, I typed it into my search engine, and discovered that I was not the only one who remaines a fan.

40.  Daniel T Nebel
Hi, I'm a 19 year old student in England studying Literature.  The Mysterious Cities of Gold have always been my favourite cartoon....I just wish someone would show it on television again.  I'm a big fan of Anime and Manga...one day I hope Anime will have the following it deserves in England.

39.  Matt
My name is Matt, I'm a 24 year old computer tutor/programmer who lives in Australia.  I first saw MCoG back in the 80's on ABC-TV, and to me it was an instant cult classic.  Since then, I've seen reruns on two occasions in the late 80's, but haven't seen it for about 8 years.  I picked the Condor because I like high tech

38.  emlascel@thehub.com.au
My IRC nick is Tinkerbe| or watanie, on oz.org .  I love meeting other MCoG fans

37.  Cath
I'm 18 and I'm going to be living in England in a relatively short amount of time for a relatively long amount of time.  However, I possess all of the famous tact and restraint of the British charmingly combined with a natural American baseness.  I haven't seen MCoG in a really long time but I still think about it and like hum the theme song and shit.  The things I remember are the Olmecs and the living forever and actually I think I remember just about everything like the whole vague storyline.  Man that series kicked ass.

36.  Adam Selzer
I was born in 1980 and haven't seen this show in 10 years (man, can it be that long?), but I can still sing most of the theme song, and read off the names of the characters.  I vividly remember the episodes with the Jade Mask, which for some reason scared the crap out of me.  It's great to know that there are others that remember this show!

35.  Ian Brachi
23 year old living in Bournemouth wants desparetely to get in contact with anybody who can provide him with the episodes.

34.  Kati Clinton
I am 17 and I live in Dallas, Tx.  My most vivid memory of the show (besides the joining of medallions) was getting out of chores to watch the show.  My mother really loved that! I love old movies, old TV shows, and classic rock.

33.  Sim
Hi everyone! I used to watch MCoG every day it was on.  It was, and still is, my favourite show! I can't remember much though - I was only 6 or 7 years old at the time, but I still know the theme song of by heart! You can find out more about me at my home page.

32.  Cameron Daniels
I am 20 years old and, like most other Americans I saw MCoG on Nickelodeon in the mid 80's.  I live in Denver, Colorado where I am an art student.  I have episodes 11, 12, 14, and 15 on tape.  My favorite characters were the Spaniards.  I also enjoy all types of anime.

31.  Tiffany
Well, I was going to be Zia, but I thought being Zia#5 would be just a little tacky.  I love MCoG (along with any other type of anime) and I really wish I could buy the entire series SOMEWHERE (my one and only video tape that had MCoG on it broke).  I live in Kalamazoo, MI (Yes, there really is such a place!) and I love gymnastics.  I'm 14 right now (b.  1983).

30.  Robin Searle
I'm 18 years old, I live in New Zealand, but I used to live in England where I First saw Cities of Gold, I was instantly addicted to the series.  I have'nt seen it for about 7 years, and I wish they would put it back on t.v, As it is my favourite cartoon series.

29.  Candice Stein
I've been a huge MCoG fan since it first aired on Nickleodeon in 1986.  I'm 22, and live in Southern California.  I love all the characters, but my favorites are Esteban, Zia and Mendoza.  My other interests are Disney movies, Star Wars & The X-Files.

28.  Graham Bucknell
Hey there.  I'm 16 and I live in Sydney.  Down here MCOG was repeated heaps oftimes during the eighties but they don't sow it anymore.  As well as watching anime I play sax and rockclimb

27.  Eileen
Hi...my name is Eileen, I'm 18, I'm a freshman at Yale University, and I LOVE MCoG.  What can I say? MCoG was my favorite show as a kid.  My sister and I used to pretend that we were flying the condor on our swingset in the backyard.  I went through a brief phase when I was eight where I was convinced I wanted to marry someone named Esteban.  When I was learning about Spanish conquest of the new world in Middle school, I was shocked to discover that a lot of references made in MCoG were actually _true_! An animated series based on history! I loved it even more.  Of course by that time it had already gone off the air...

26.  Addison Godel
Addison Godel has been an MCoG fan since the late 80's when he was a kid and thanks to a bit of digging around managed to get all the episodes (no copies, sorry).

25.  Gem
I was born in 1980, and first watched the MCoG in 1986.  I watched it again when ABC repeated it in '88, but it was never on TV again.  I have been searching for a city of gold on the internet for a long time now, and at last I have reached my destination.  When I think back on the MCoG, I get this nice feeling inside.  Maybe that's why I like learning about ancient civilizations in history.  My favourite part was when the three had to escape from Gaspard by swimming in the underwater tunnel.  One day I wi ll really travel to the Andes, and go to Machu Picchu.

24.  Kate
I'm Kate and I was born in 1982.  I live in Australia and have been a MCoG enthusiast since my youmg years.  Have been searching all my life for others of my kind.  I particularly remember the bits about The Jade Mask and Tao eating iguana (it tastes just likes chicken!)

23.  Dara Jahani
I watched the series in France, and then again in Canada.  I am 20 years old, and currently am in Engineering at the University of Waterloo.  Pour mes amis francais, Je n'oublires jamais mon enfance en France.  "Pour devenir vraiment grand, tu vois, un fils doit deppasser son pere." Hi, I live in the city of Sydney in Australia, and I've loved MCOG ever since it was first shown over here.

21.  carla
born in 1979, MCoG was by far the greatest series of my childhood.  I'm still an avid fan although I haven't been able to find an episode in over 8 years.  I thought all hope was lost of ever seeing the series again until I stumbled upon this site.  Now I'm trying to find a copy of the entire series, and am willing to do anything to find it.  Esteban was always my hero because he was like the glue that held the rest of the group together.

20.  Tim Gray
Hmmmm...  what to say....  OK.  I'm 12, remember Cities of Gold from my early childhood, and I'm Alex's brother.  My cityand school are the same as Alex's.  I love MCoG, Akira, Dragon Ball Z, n64, and soccer (football in England).

18.  Caroline
I'd like to appear on the fan list, if possible, with the name of Qinti (Quechua, or Inca, for "Hummingbird"), and the above picture, which I drew - it's a sort-of self portrait.  The other picture I hope you like; I sketched it off a picture out of your archives.  I've loved MCoG for years.

16.  Stephanie
Hello! I always loved Zia, for her golden heart and her sensitivity.  I've been so inspired by the MCG that I've started to write a book called The Last Heiress of the Incas and Mayas, three years ago.I'm studying in America, but I'm from France.I love Zia, but distrust Maina, the Maya's girl met in the Olmecs citadel, for the good reason that I always feel that she might got some feelings for Esteban, at the moment she first saw him, Viraccocha or not.

8.  Adrienne
Well, I'm 15 and am in 9th grade, and I live in Pennsylvania.  And I guess I've watched MCoG since I was little.  To be honest, I really hate writing these biography things.

7.  Paul Lunga
I've liked MCOG since it began on Nickelodeon (even when I had to get up at 6AM to watch it).  The episode I remember the most is the one where Zia is about to meet her father, but flees with Esteban and Tao from the village seconds before another girl was trying to catch her to tell her...
I'll send in the link to my hompage as soon as I get it up and running...
